Operational Methodology & Grid ParityLumen Sentry operates as an independent bridge between the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and the residential consumer. Our objective is to reduce the "Information Asymmetry" that currently favors industrial energy traders over individual households.
Data Acquisition
- Source: ENTSO-E Day-Ahead - Prices (REST API v2.1).
- Refresh Rate: 60 Seconds (Synchronized with 13:00 CET daily release).
Nodes: Monitoring 28 EU price zones with a focus on the Central-Eastern Europe (CEE) cluster.
The Binary Logic (GO/WAIT)
Our "Sentry" engine processes raw MWh prices into a binary signal based on a Standardized Grid Baseline:
Baseline = 150 EUR/MWh
- NEON GREEN (GO): Current price is ≤ 0 EUR. The grid is in surplus; consumption is incentivized.
- SOLID GREEN (GO): Current price is significantly lower than the 24H average.
- GREY (WAIT): Current price exceeds the baseline or peak volatility is detected.
